Ziye Chen is a Master’s student majoring in Industrial Design Engineering in the School of Design at Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen. She previously received her B.A. in Digital Media Arts from Hangzhou.

Her research is art-based engaging with sonic materiality, embodied experience, creatiev media and human-computer interaction. She explores how multisensory environments and interactive media can generate new forms of aesthetic, cultural, and affective experience.
